A custom RV control panel brings water monitoring, battery monitoring and the switching of on-board electrical loads together on one anodized aluminum plate. Each panel is supplied as a set — panel, instruments, switches, controller and wiring harness — so it installs into a pre-cut opening rather than having to be assembled from separate parts.
The panel is a finished product, not only a project item. The eight standard configurations are supplied as complete, ready-to-fit panels that can be installed as they are or resold under your own brand, and the same platform is built to a function list and a drawing when a programme needs custom lettering, a different cut-out or a layout that does not exist yet.
These panels are built for motorhomes, campervans and caravans, and the same platform is specified as a control panel on boats and yachts and on industrial equipment. Switch lettering, the panel logo area, cable length and the cut-out layout can all be customized, so an order can be placed either way — a standard configuration taken as it stands, or a custom build that starts from a drawing or a list of functions.
If you are specifying a panel for a vehicle programme, the sections below set out the two ways to buy, the confirmed panel sizes, the cut-out dimensions, the instrument and controller specifications, what the standard set includes and excludes, and exactly which information we need in order to quote.
What This RV Control Panel Does
The panel is a centralized control point for the water and electrical systems of a vehicle. Depending on the configuration, it can carry:
- Water tank monitoring — fresh water and grey or waste water level gauges, or a combined gauge
- Battery monitoring — a coulomb counter that reads voltage and current so the state of charge can be tracked
- Voltage display — a voltmeter with an adjustable backlight
- Charging — a dual USB outlet and a 12V/24V power socket for on-board devices
- Load switching — 6, 8, 10 or 12 round metal switches controlling lighting, pumps and other on-board equipment
Switching is handled through a separate controller with 10 low-current channels and 4 high-current channels, using 30A relays and 15A fuses. The switch panel itself therefore carries only the switching signal, while the load current is routed through the controller — which is why the panel can stay compact even when a large number of circuits is involved.
The system is supplied from 9–24V DC and also accepts a 220V mains input at the control port. The instruments and the controller themselves operate on 8–32V.
Two Ways to Buy: Standard Finished Panel or Custom Build
The panel exists as a finished product and as a built-to-order item. Both routes use the same panel platform, the same instruments and the same 10 + 4 channel controller — what changes is how much of the panel is specified for you.
| Standard configuration | Custom build | |
|---|---|---|
| What is supplied | A finished panel set, as listed below, ready to install | A panel set built to your function list and drawing |
| Switch lettering | Standard lettering for that configuration | Lettered to your function list |
| Branding | Reserved logo area for your own mark | Your logo artwork applied to the reserved area |
| Cut-out | As listed in the dimensions table | Opening area reserved to suit your installation |
| Cable length | 5 m standard | Any length, made to order |
| Typical use | Retrofit, replacement, and resale by distributors and aftermarket brands | Series production, OEM/ODM programmes, and layouts outside the standard range |
| To start | Tell us the configuration, the quantity and the destination | Send the function list, a drawing, or a photo of the panel being replaced |
Because the standard panel is a finished product, a project does not have to begin with tooling or development. Stock status for a particular configuration and the current lead time are confirmed with the quotation, since both move with the configuration and the quantity ordered.
Configuration Options
Eight configurations are available as standard combinations of instruments and switch positions. These are the combinations supplied as finished panels:
| # | Configuration |
|---|---|
| 1 | 3-in-1 gauge + battery monitor + 12 switches |
| 2 | Fresh water gauge + battery monitor + 12 switches |
| 3 | 3-in-1 gauge + battery monitor + 8 switches |
| 4 | Fresh water gauge + battery monitor + 8 switches |
| 5 | Battery monitor + dual USB + power socket + 6 switches |
| 6 | 2 water level gauges + 12 switches |
| 7 | 10 switches |
| 8 | 8 switches |
A combination that is not listed can still be built. Because the panel is assembled from a configurable instrument and switch layout, a custom build starts from the list of functions you need on the panel — tell us which standard configuration is closest, or send the function list and we will confirm what can be made.
Panel Dimensions and Cut-out
Cut-out dimensions matter more than panel dimensions when the panel has to drop into an existing dashboard or cabinet. The table below lists the configurations for which panel size, cut-out and net weight are confirmed:
| Configuration | Panel size (mm) | Cut-out (mm) | Net weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 water level gauges + 12 switches | 300 × 120 | 275 × 100 | ≈ 2.3 kg |
| 3-in-1 gauge + battery monitor + 8 switches | 260 × 130 | 240 × 100 | ≈ 2.5 kg |
| Battery monitor + dual USB + power socket + 6 switches | 220 × 120 | 205 × 105 | ≈ 1.7 kg |
| 3-in-1 gauge + battery monitor + 12 switches | 200 × 160 | 180 × 135 | ≈ 2.1 kg |
| 10 switches | 170 × 70 | 150 × 60 | ≈ 2.0 kg |
Panels are fixed with four self-tapping screws. The standard wiring harness is 5 m; other lengths are available to order.
Configurations 2, 4 and 8 are not listed in the dimensions table. Their panel and cut-out sizes are confirmed per order — send the function list and the installation space, and the dimensions are confirmed before production starts.

The anodized aluminum face gives the panel a dark, even finish that resists scuffing in a vehicle interior, and it is the surface that carries the switch lettering and the logo area. Material behaviour and finish selection for parts that also see marine or outdoor service are covered in the materials guide for automotive and marine parts.
What the Standard Set Includes — and What It Does Not
Each set is supplied ready to install, with the matching controller and harness rather than as loose components.
Included: panel, instruments, switches, connector and patch board, controller, 5 m connection cable, four mounting screws and wiring instructions.
Not included: water level sensors. These are a separate item and need to be ordered additionally.
This matters when a retrofit is being budgeted, because the level gauges on the panel read from sensors that are not part of the panel set.
Vehicle, Marine and Equipment Applications
- RV and campervan electrical and water control — centralized switching for lighting, pumps and on-board equipment
- Motorhome and caravan water and electrical monitoring and switch control
- Boat and yacht control panels using the same panel architecture
- Industrial and mechanical equipment control panels
- Fresh water, grey or waste water, voltage and battery state-of-charge monitoring
The same panel platform is used across vehicles and vessels, which is useful for builders who want a consistent switch layout across more than one product line. The wider set of scenarios these panels are specified for is grouped on the applications overview.
Marine and Boat Control Panels
The panel is also specified as a boat or yacht control panel. The construction — an anodized aluminum face with metal switches — suits an enclosed helm or cabin position, and the same 10 + 4 channel controller arrangement applies.
Builders working on both vehicle and marine programmes can therefore use a single panel layout across both. Marine hardware for deck and cabin applications is covered separately under boat and marine parts and yacht parts and accessories.
What Can Be Customized
Customization is optional and is applied to the standard panel, so the same product can be taken as it stands or adapted to your programme:
| Customization | Availability |
|---|---|
| Switch lettering / text | Supported — no additional charge for the lettering itself |
| Panel logo / brand area | Reserved logo area on the panel |
| Cable length | Special cable lengths supported (5 m is standard) |
| Cut-out area | Opening area can be reserved to suit the installation |
Because the switch lettering and the logo area are applied to the same anodized face, it is worth confirming the final switch function list early — the letters follow the functions you specify.
OEM and Custom Manufacturing
The standard configurations are supplied as finished products; where a programme needs its own specification, the same panel is built to order against a function list and, where available, a drawing. On that route the confirmed customization for this product is switch lettering, the reserved logo area, cable length and the cut-out layout — which is also what allows a distributor or an aftermarket brand to sell the panel under its own name.
Beyond that, the wider manufacturing discussion — tooling, prototypes, materials, finishing and volume production — sits with our custom manufacturing service. Custom manufacturing explains how a programme runs from drawing to delivery, and OEM vs ODM vs custom manufacturing sets out which model fits which kind of project. The production steps a custom part goes through before shipment are described in how custom vehicle parts are made.
Quality and Compliance
Our factory operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality system, and parts are checked at incoming material, in-process and final inspection stages.
For this panel, no product-specific certification is claimed here — no CE marking, RoHS statement or IP rating is stated in the specification. If your market requires a particular approval, tell us which standard applies to your programme and we will confirm in writing what can be supported for your order.
Who We Supply
These panels are supplied to:
- RV, campervan and motorhome manufacturers and converters
- Camper and caravan aftermarket brands
- Marine electrical integrators and boat builders
- Importers, distributors and wholesalers of vehicle accessories
- Engineering companies building control panels into equipment
Distributors, importers and aftermarket brands can take the standard configurations as finished, resale-ready panels, using the reserved logo area for their own branding. Converters, vehicle manufacturers and OEM programmes generally take the custom route instead.
Other hardware in the same line — roof racks and mounting hardware, and camper cabinet latches and handles — is grouped under RV and motorhome parts.
If the list above describes your business, the simplest route is to tell us whether you need a standard configuration or a built-to-order panel, and send the function list and the installation space if it is the latter. We will come back with a configuration and a quotation.
How to Order: What to Send for a Quotation
To quote accurately we need to know what the panel has to do and where it has to fit. Please include:
| Information | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
| Required functions, or the standard configuration wanted | Determines the instrument and switch configuration, or confirms a standard panel |
| Number of switch positions | 6, 8, 10 or 12 |
| Panel or cut-out size, or the available space | Confirms the panel and opening dimensions |
| Switch lettering and logo requirements | Sets the face layout |
| Cable length needed | 5 m is standard; other lengths are made to order |
| Supply system (12V, 24V, or 9–24V with a 220V input) | Confirms the controller and instrument variants |
| Quantity | Required for any volume pricing |
| Destination country | Affects packing and shipping |
| Any standards your market requires | Determines what must be confirmed before production |
Drawings are welcome — a sketch, a photograph of the existing panel or a wiring list is enough to start. If you have an existing panel that you want replicated with changes, send a photo with the changes marked. If you would rather take a standard panel, the configuration you want and the quantity are enough to quote.
Quotations are typically returned within 24 hours of a workable enquiry. Send your requirements through the quote form or the contact page, or use the enquiry form on this page. The FAQ answers the questions buyers ask most often before a first order.

FAQ
Can you manufacture this panel to our drawing?
Yes. Panels are built to a function list and a drawing. Send the drawing or a sketch of the layout, and the panel size, cut-out and switch lettering are set from it.
Can I order the standard panel as it is, without customizing it?
Yes. The eight standard configurations are supplied as finished products, so a panel can be ordered as it stands — for a retrofit, a replacement, or for resale under your own brand using the reserved logo area. Customization is optional and is applied to the same panel platform.
What are the panel and cut-out dimensions?
Confirmed dimensions are listed for five configurations in the dimensions table. For the other configurations, and for any custom layout, the panel and cut-out sizes are confirmed per order once the function list and the installation space are known.
Is the control panel supplied as a complete set?
Yes. The set includes the panel, instruments, switches, connector and patch board, controller, a 5 m connection cable, four mounting screws and wiring instructions.
Are water level sensors included?
No. Water level sensors are not part of the set and are ordered separately. The level gauges on the panel read from those sensors.
Can the switch lettering be customized?
Yes. Switch text is produced to your function list, with no additional charge for the lettering itself. A logo area is reserved on the panel for your branding.
Can this panel be used on a boat or yacht?
Yes. The panel is also specified as a boat and yacht control panel, using the same anodized aluminum face, metal switches and 10 + 4 channel controller arrangement.
Which certifications does this panel carry?
No product-specific certification is claimed for this panel. Our factory operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality system. If your market requires a particular standard or approval, tell us which one applies and we will confirm what can be supported for your order.
What is the minimum order quantity and lead time?
Because the standard configurations are finished products, an order does not have to start with tooling. Minimum quantity and lead time still depend on the configuration and the quantity ordered, so they are confirmed with the quotation rather than published as fixed figures. Include the configuration, your quantity and the destination in the enquiry and both will be confirmed.
